India beat Thailand by 74 innings in the semifinals of the women's Asia Cup.

India's victory over Thailand put them in the Asia Cup final for the eighth year running (four in ODIs, four in T20s).

After being put in to bat, India scored 148 for 6, while Thailand could only muster 74 for 9 in the loss.

Thailand was never in the running as they lost wickets at regular intervals while chasing the mark.

Off-spin bowler Deepti Sharma (3/7) was mostly responsible for the damage.

When they left the field, the Indian bowlers breezed through the rest of the Thai middle and lower order.

Sornnarin Tippoch was the best bowler for Thailand with figures of 3/24.
