Elon Musk replies to criticism on the $8 cost for the blue tick on Twitter
On Tuesday, Elon Musk revealed that verified Twitter users must continue to pay a $8 monthly charge in order to keep their badges.
The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla wrote, "To all complainers, please continue whining, but it will cost $8,".
Musk then included the YouTube film "Argument" by 1960s British comedy group "Monty Python" in a following tweet.
According to the Twitter user, Monty Python was the source of the notion to charge for insults and disputes.
Musk has made a lot of adjustments since taking charge.
Three top executives, including CEO Parag Agarwal, were sacked by him.
